Agar-agar is purely vegetarian and it is plant-based gelatine derived from seaweed. It is also can be used in gluten-free recipes as a thickener and very nutritious. It can be used in desserts and other cooking without altering the taste or smell. 

How to cook with agar-agar? 

Boil 25g of agar-agar powder with 3kg of water in a pot to be dissolved in water because it cannot be simply dissolved in a liquid or directly to food. Stir constantly until melted and add some desired sugar. Then pour the mixture to fill up the moulds and cool to serve.
